Roasting Marshmallows

The other night we roasted marshmallows at Kristina's parents' house. They have a fire pit in the backyard, and the kids love to sit out there and watch for the first star every night.Dan helping Ben burn some marshmallows.Bradley was a little extra cautious with his.
Kylie liked roasting more than eating the smores...go figure.

Visiting Family

We drove out to Northern California on Saturday to visit family and take some vacation time. On Tuesday, we went to Live Oak to visit Dan's parents and Amanda's family. It was nice to relax and let the cousins play, and we were all able to catch up. We had a great bbq later that evening, and everything was really good.Grandpa eating fruit loops out of Ben's hand...and getting a little of Ben's hand.

May Card Group

This is my card for the month of May. The theme was baby/wedding, and I chose to do a baby card since I don't know anyone getting married soon. We went out to dinner instead of meeting at someone's house and had a lot of fun.

Pre-School Graduation

Kylie graduated from the first year of pre-school on Tuesday. Her class sang a few songs, they got a certificate, and then we had cookies. She loved her class and had a great year.

Eagle Award

Bradley got the Award of Excellence in Learning from his Kindergarten teacher today. He was one of two kids to receive the ribbon and he was excited to show us. He got the award for being a good helper and working hard. We are very proud of him!

Waterguns

Saturday was really hot, so we picked up some waterguns for the kids. The only way Ben could shoot was pointing it at himself. He laughed every time and said "All wet". The other kids loved shooting each other.

Happy Birthday Ben!

Today is Ben's 2nd Birthday, so he opened his presents this morning. His favorite thing was the Thomas the Train ride on toy, which he spent most of the day riding around. We had pizza for dinner and finished off with cake and some homemade ice cream. It was a good day and we are so greatful to have him in our family.

School Carnival

Yesterday, Bradley's school held the annual fundraiser Carnival, and the kids were excited to go. They played lots of games and got their faces painted. Everyone had a blast and we were able to help the school raise a few bucks.
Kylie had a butterfly painted over her whole face and Bradley got the "Y" on his cheek. Ben stuck in the bouncy castle. Kylie running down the blow up slide.

Hair clips

I went to Enrichment on Thursday night and made these great clips for Kylie's hair. It is way easier and less expensive than I thought it would be. To any of my sister/sister-in-laws that read this, I would be happy to make some for you! Im a little addicted! Thanks to Jenni for such a fun night.

Kylie was so excited for me to do her hair with these that she got dressed faster than I have ever seen!

Our little Tween!

I can't believe Kylie is already a Hannah Montana fan, but this morning she asked me to find some of her music on the computer. She even knew the title "Best of Both Worlds"! How, I don't know. She and Ben were rockin' out in the kitchen and I thought it was pretty funny. The camera is a little shaky because I was trying to get Ben to keep dancing. Now, Kylie wants the CD. We are going to have our hands full when she is older!
