Fall Soccer

Bradley has been playing 1st Grade soccer this fall, and I've had the chance to coach his team. It's been fun to be out there with the kids, especially since there were 4 of Bradley's friends on the team. Here are a few pics from the last game:

Big boy or drag queen?

Ben is hardly ever blogged about so I thought I would dedicate one to him. A few Sundays ago he came down in Kylie's dress. It was hilarious! We bought him some new clothes a few days later and I think he looks so old. Which look do you like best?
Dancing queen?!
Big kid!

Field trip

Yesterday I helped out with Kylie's preschool field trip to the Spanish Fork Airport. I took Ben, Kylie and Eleanor in our car. We spent about an hour looking at small airplanes and helicopters. The kids got to watch one take off and even had their picture taken in a helicopter. It was fun and Ben was really good for me. All the parents are supposed to help with 1 field trip throughout the year and Im glad I got mine done early!

September Card

Well after a long summer break, our card group is back on! I missed it and really looked forward to getting back together with the girls. This month was Halloween cards and I really got into it. I love this time of year! Jenni made the best pumpkin dessert and everyones cards were so great.

New TV

Our old TV kept turning itself off every couple minutes, so we bit the bullet and got a new one. We got a good deal on a Samsung 40" LCD HDTV, and I have to say, we like the results. We also had to pick up a new TV stand, which we got at RC Willey. I've already been able to watch some football, and it looks pretty sweet...and for the kids, Mickey Mouse has never looked better.

Kite Festival

This weekend I took the kids to the 1st annual kite festival in Spanish Fork. Dan was out of town for work, but we decided to go and check it out. We took a picnic lunch (Subway sandwiches) and watched the kites. I have to say I thought it was a little dull, but the kids loved it. There were 3 or 4 cool kites, I just thought there would be a lot more. The kids got to make kites out of paper and see some Chinese kites in the kite museum. The weather was great and it was nice to get out of the house for a little while.

They had a guy on a jet ski fly this kite around the reservoir
The kids loved watching from the "beach"
