Happy Birthday, Kylie!

I can't believe our baby girl is 5! It seems like we just brought her home from the hospital. She weighed 7 lbs. 9 oz. which seemed tiny compared to Bradley's 9lbs. She was such a smiley little baby and she still cracks us up.

Bradley is unsure of his little squishy sister, but now they are best buds!

How cute is that face?!

For her birthday party she invited 2 friends to go to Jumpin' Jacks (an inflatable bounce house place). She and the kids all had a great time!

A Spring Tease!

On Friday the kids had a day off of school so we decided to take a lunch to the park. The weather was perfect, about 70+ degrees. Bradley even complained of being hot. I got so excited about Spring being here that I rushed out that night and bought all the kids some new flip flops and shorts. I had heard that the weather would change this weekend, but I chose not to believe it. Well, the jokes on me because its getting colder and even supposed to snow tomorrow. Mother nature can be so cruel!

Bradley and Kylie took turns pushing Ben on the swing.

Kylie loved riding Bradley's scooter on the paths

Ben laid on the grass because he said he was tired after eating lunch. He told me he needed "a little rest"

March Card

Last week card group was at my house and we had a great time. Everyone always makes such great cards! I really can't believe how much I love doing this especially since I had never stepped foot in a scrapbooking store before this. This is my card for the month of March. The theme was male birthday. I was worried about doing a "boy" card, but it was actually a lot of fun.

A Kylie Post

I noticed that I hadn't posted about Kylie in awhile. I found a couple of random pictures on our camera so I thought I'd put them on here. These pictures were taken last week when she wore her new "skull" shirt to school. She thought she looked pretty cute and wanted me to take her picture. I think she and Ben are trying to pose, but mostly its just funny! Other than that, Kylie is keeping busy with preschool and gymnastics. I just registered her for kindergarten yesterday, which I still can't believe. She is so excited to go to Bradley's school. In gymnastics, she was just moved up to the next level and is working on cartwheels and doing more on the balance beam. It's been fun to see her progress. I'll have to get more pictures of that later.

Pregnancy Update

Thankfully there is not much to say! This pregnancy has been very uneventful and I am very grateful. We have decided to name him Grant and I don't think we could change it even if we wanted to. The kids all call him baby Grant (or Baby Gwant as Ben says). I just went to my 28 week appt. yesterday and he is growing well and moving like crazy. Its hard to believe that I am already in my 3rd trimester. Dan has been so great and supportive during this whole thing. I don't give him nearly enough credit. He often makes or helps me make dinner and then cleans the kitchen every night before bed! It has really made my life so much easier. Anyway no belly pics or anything because I try to avoid the camera at all costs!

One "Can"

This is Ben's favorite book right now. He loves saying all the animals and now knows some great ones like polar bear and rhino. In the book, there is a picture of 2 toucans. I didn't realize that he thought we were saying 2 "cans", but when he saw the cover he kept saying, "look, there's one can". He really cracks us up!

Bradley's busy month

The month of February was pretty busy for Bradley. We signed him up for Little Hoopsters which is just an introduction to basketball for kids in the 1st and 2nd grades. He was pretty excited because he got new basketball shoes and shirt. His dribbling needs some work, but he was pretty good at stealing the ball and taking it to the basket. In just a few short weeks, he was definitely showing some improvement. He is not the most aggressive kid, but he is always willing to try a new sport and so far wants to do them all!

At the end of the month all the boys turning 8 this year were invited to the Blue and Gold Banquet for the cub scouts. Being in the primary presidency, I spent a lot of time on this and was glad that Bradley could come and see what scouts is all about. The theme was chinese new year and we had a lady from the ward come teach the boys some karate moves. It was a really fun night.
